A few weeks ago, my aunt came to visit from Ontario. While she was here, she made a list of a few charts that she would like me to stitch for her. She used to be an avid stitcher as well, but sadly can no longer do it due to her health. While she was here she enjoyed looking through my stash and my finished pieces. Anyways, one of the charts she picked out is Elizabeth's Needlework Designs Old Stone Church. There are a lot of specialty stitches in this, so, I'm sure to enjoy it!
And this is what I have done so far.
This picture is horrible. It's an overcast day, and the colours aren't showing up very well. I'm using 28ct Lambswool linen, which is more creamy in real life than this.
When I first took the picture and started this post, I realized the window was on the reverse side of what I had done. Being a bit slow, it took me a few minutes to realize I took a pic of the back side haha. So, since I already have it uploaded, here is my back side so far. I don't think I've shared a pic of the back of my work before.
That's all for now folks! Time to make some time to stitch!

Nice back!!! Looks as good as the front.
This is one of Elizabeth's designs that I haven't seen before now. If you hadn't said anything we might never have known that pic was of the back. Looks as great as the front does!
I'm glad you shared a picture of the back of your work! I'd never taken a picture of my back, let alone shown it to anyone until I posted the back of my Floral Teacup in that slideshow :) It's very freeing somehow, don't you find? I used to worry about the lack of neatess, but have come to the conclusion that it's better to have a bit of mess and firmly darned threads than no mess and your work unraveling, LOL.
And you have nothing to be ashamed of - your back is almost as neat as your front, like Lynn and Kathy said! Be very proud ;)
