Racking up the finishes

Another one bites the dust....  I finished Old Stone Church early this afternoon.

Old Stone Church
by
Elizabeth's Designs
28ct Lambswool Linen
Recommended WDW and DMC threads

This pic might show the colours better.
So, for the first time ever, I actually kept a notebook diary of my stitching time and progress with what I stitched and number of hours at each sitting, mainly because I knew my aunt would ask me how long it took....  So, in total I spent 30.5 hours on this.  I'm not exactly a speedy stitcher, so, I'm guessing that is a lot more time than other people would take considering it's only 6"x6.5" and nothing is filled in other than the lovely textured Rice Stitch trees.

Something else I noticed was that my average sitting is about 3 hours.  I know I tend to get restless so, this must be when I decide its time to do something different.  Anyone else ever make note of stuff like this or am I just way too analytical lol?

That looks lovely, Karen! I really like the different stitches used.

I've never actually counted how long it takes me on a project either. I'm sure I'm slower than many other stitchers.

Congratulations on another pretty finish! I don't count my hours either but I know I'm not as fast as some people. I don't really care, since I get things done eventually ;)

Great finish. I have never kept a count of time - only dates - but you sound fast to me!

What a lovely finish Karen. Like the other Margaret I only keep track of the days from start to finish. Are you going to count all your time from now on?

Beautiful finish Karen! I really like this one.
My average sitting time is only about 1 hr or so. I have to get up after that. I may go back to the stitching within a short time but I can't sit for too long.

What a lovely finish. I also have this in my stash to stitch up one day.
