This is what I've done so far:
This will be an easy pattern to stitch. There aren't very many colour changes and it seems to go quite quickly, which is what I need right now.
Shortly after my last post, I made an emergency appointment with my dentist and ended up having a wisdom tooth pulled. Needless to say, I'm not feeling my best and haven't been doing much of anything other than sleeping. When I am awake, this design fits the bill for simplicity and is exactly what I need to get my mind off my throbbing mouth. That said, I think I'm going to go back and lay down some more.
I wish you all a better week than mine!

Oh Karen I am so sorry. Sending lots of hugs and sympathy.
Pretty new stitch. Sometimes we need the simple stitches to sooth us.
Sorry to hear of your dental woes. Lots of well wishes are headed your way for a quick recovery.
Nice new start! Good for you for sticking to what's in your stash.
Sorry to hear you had to have your wisdom tooth out I hope your feeling back to normal soon!
I just LOVE Diane's stuff and the beautiful simplicity of it I look forward to watching this WIP develop. Looks like it should be a quick stitch.
Ouch! Wisdom teeth pulling, speaking from experience, is never nice. Best wishes for a speedy - and complication free! - recovery!
I really like the design you're doing too; it does have a "beautiful simplicity", as Dani aptly put it, and the little birds and frogs (especially the jumping one; super-cute!) are wonderfully whimsical details. :)
A wonderful start, Karen. Hope you are feeling better soon!
